About The Celturian
My name is Martin known has The Celturian, I'm a recording Artist here in the UK, I write and play acoustic guitar instrumentals in Celtic and Classical. I mainly sell my music to the American market, over the years I have made several albums and performed on BBC radio and live stage performances with Blaze Bayley/// Iron maiden \\\Saxon/// Wishbone Ash\\\and currently writing for Fay Goodman film & Music Director and singer songwriter, we have just recently completed our up coming album The Eye featuring Rick Wakeman from the rock group Yes, and Louis Nicastro The Stranglers Producer who has produced our album, along with Phil Spalding session bass player.
I Performed at the BAFTA film Sustainability Delegation Awards in London for 3 years
Through all the years now in playing live music, it has been a great experience not only in playing but meeting new people throughout all the venues, there is so much talent out there I have seen, many sing song writers that I love to see and watch them perform, all in the spirit of keeping live music in the Art of entertainment.
The Celturian Currently uses Virtual Sound Libraries to add depth and Dimension to my backgrounds of sounds, I was very much involved in Writing Music with China Doll, and released an Album out (The Eye)
featuring Rick Wakemem from the rock group Yes, and also had the privileged supporting Blaze Bayley from Wolfsbane who replaced Bruce Dickinson for 5 Years, my stage name gave me a platform in Celtic music all over various stages, and performing on several BBS radio shows, I was fortunate to play for BAFTA film Sustainability Awards for 3yrs in London.
My aim in life was to entertain on my acoustic guitar and do something original in the Celtic Style of Music that offered challenges using the fretboard all over like Ice skating all over the Ice in array Of Jigs & Reels & Strathspeys, to show that an Humble instrument the acoustic guitar had more to offer, this style of Music gave the opportunity to explore Classical and from there I was using Virtual Instruments to add more Colour and harmonious melodies from Orchestral movements to the entire range of the musical Instruments you can hear in my recordings all done through my Midi Guitar.
