About LightningFire
Independent Artist/Songwriter/Musician/Producer
I write my own music, I play drums, guitar and bass, I record it all into my computer into a Digital Audio Workshop where I do my own mixing, then I write lyrics to my recorded music and do my own vocals on top of my music, then I do final mixing and producing to complete the song. I'm almost finished with my 7th self-made album and I've loved every minute of doing it all on my own. It takes patience, will power and above all, a talent. This is what I was meant to do and I have not wasted it. On top of it all, I was in a car accident in 2000 that took 75% use of my right arm and that forced me to retire from playing in the bands I was playing with. It was then I realized after 40 years of playing drums in all these bands that the music I was playing with was not mine, so that meant I had no music of my own after 40 years of playing. That's when I took the time to teach myself guitar and bass and decided to start recording myself and now I have my own music where there was none and now I feel very good for taking the time to learn to play it all and I've done it all on my own with only one arm and I feel great with all I have accomplished by myself.
