About Chivalry
Chivalry, last of the crooners and true stylists.
"Capturing Romantic and Sensual Moments in Time," Chivalry skillfully defines his musical genre as "Smooth R&B," a harmonious blend of urban and traditional R&B soul enriched with a velvety jazz infusion. Recognized as a true R&B stylist, his music paints a canvas of romantic allure and soulful finesse.
I am, The Original "Chivalry." Online since 1997. Born and raised in Detroit. MI. I grew up in Detroit during the "Motown Era." I don't think you could not be into music at that time! I was singing in a group at 5, taught myself to play the drums at 11 and played in a band until I was around 18. From there I wanted to write my own music and over the years taught myself to play keyboards so that I could write songs. Music is simply a part of me. I don't do it for fame or fortune. I'm just compelled to write music. The internet allows me to share it with anyone who just happens to feel it.
I'm now residing in Italy!
