About Byron Lacy aka DOSMECHANICA
Byron Lacy (aka Dosmechanica): A Legacy of Art and the Unknown
Texas Roots & Early Resilience
Byron Lacy is a fourth-generation Texan with a lineage deeply etched into the state’s history. His great-grandfather, George Lacy, was a pioneer who helped shape the visual landscape of Texas by donating the granite used to build the Texas State Capitol and developing the Blue Lacy, now the official state dog. Born in 1950, Byron’s resilience was tested early when he survived a battle with cancer at just two years old in 1952.
